I became a caregiver simply because of my love for helping people. I enjoy assisting people with overcoming obstacles they face in their daily lives, while still promoting learning and independence. Three words some may use to describe me would be: hardworking, fast learning, and compassionate. I have three children of my own, so you can bet I have definitely learned a thing or two about patience!

I truly believe in celebration of life at all stages and ages. I enjoy being able to bring sunshine in somebody else's day. Especially in a digital society, where humanity and preservation of dignity sometimes end up on the back burner, I truly believe in mutual respect and making the best out of every situation. I have been raised by my dear grandmother in Germany, was able to take care of her in her final days and would enjoy making your or your loved one's day a bit brighter. If you look for the average person for the job, I am NOT the right one. If you prefer the person who values individuality and personal choices, I just might be your match. Hello my name is Festina Fredericks. I've been a certified caregiver for 7 years. I'm a great caregiver because I'm extremely passionate about helping people. I love what I do so I strive to give my best to each and every family I work for. I treat my residents with respect and dignity.

Being a caregiver gives me the opportunity of meeting and interacting with new amazing people. I love the joy of assisting the individuals achieve their daily activities and goals. My greatest achievement is my family. being a mom to my baby girl and caring for my younger siblings.

I'm a very outgoing person. I love to laugh and be surrounded by people. I can find something in common with everyone because I'm very well rounded and have many many interests. I decided to become a caregiver because I love the feeling of helping others in my community with whatever it is they need. I've always cared for the people around me whether it was with basic needs or more. I was previously a caregiver for a year and worked with clients that had disabilities and absolutely love what I do.

I wanted to help people and children. I like to see people smile and knowing that they are being taken care of properly. I took care of a disable adult that gave me a big smile after I help him. This made my day so much brighter.

I became a caregiver by nature. I love to care for others and give companionship. I also love watching my clients improve on daily livings, so it makes my job that much more interesting. Communicating with people and being that helping hand without thought has drawn me towards this field of care giving. Being able to get others to show improvement and joyfulness from improving makes me most proud.

I have been caring for disabled and mental behavior individuals for over 5 years the enjoyment and compassion of helping others, brings join to myself. It takes patience to work with many difference people and personalities.

I wanted to be a caregiver, because I love to be there for others when they are in need of help. I love coming to work and seeing my clients, work is my happy place.

I have a way with people. I make them laugh. I help them with anything they need. They know they can always count on me. I used to help my aunt with her Developmentally disabled kids and I enjoyed helping them. I enjoy being a care giving because seeing them happy and healthy is the best thing in the world, knowing you make a positive impact on their lives is very heartwarming.

I have Patience. Iam Compassion ,Attentiveness ,Dependability ,Trustworthiness. I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I like older adults and feel i can get along well with a variety of elders. I like making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better. I take pride in your attention to detail. I don't want a desk job; i like being physical in my job and using my body as well as my brain. Iam seeking a career with growing opportunities My most proud moments as a caregiver is knowing my family appreciates my help & kindness when leaving me with their precious little ones. I love kids & elder mostly caring for them when a family entrusts you with their child/children or family member & takes the time out to let you know your doing a great job, that's a moment of proudness.

1.I became a Caregiver because,I love providing to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and make me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know Iran doing the right thing. 2. The thing I like about being a caregiver is, Meeting new people and providing Caregiving services that they can no longer do for themselves. 3.A personal achievement I'm proud of is, coming here to the United States, being able to go to school and graduate from high school, bring able to work and help family back home. 4. I became a caregiver because I helped my ex boyfriends grandmother and no one would take of her so I step in and took care of her she was an dietetic patient. So form there i deiced I wanted to become a RNA so I'm going to Phoenix College and well be grading in 2015. I didn't just stop there am also going for social worker because my husband is one.

The reason I became a great Caregiver, I enjoy working with the elderly. I love helping regaining their independent, helping them gain confident in going back into their community. I am a retired special needs teacher, that title have given me the experience to work many types of disabilities, whether it be working with the elderly or mentally ill. I new to Portland and looking for a job in the field I enjoy working in. As I stated above, I am a retired special needs teacher, I have been a caregiver in groups homes, I am a experienced foster parent as well as an adopted parent. I have done all this after raising three children of my own. I have also assisted in raising 14 grand children. I enjoy reading, and from time to time I attempt to write. A former Sunday School teacher for my former church. During my twenty-seven years in Phoenix I also served on the Board of Trustee and finance chairman. I am experience in taking people from the group home to church with me, taking them shopping and helping hem manage their money.
