I became a caregiver when I cared for my grandmother with cancer. I realized how much physical, medical and emotional commitment is involved in caring for your loved ones and how important quality of life and comfort care become as we age and with various health conditions. Caring for people is a very rewarding experience and a great way to help our community and our elders, I have met many wonderful and unique individuals throughout my career in the health care field and I am committed to providing excellent care while helping these patients keep their independence and dignity they so we'll deserve. I have 10 years experience working in the field and CNA experience and HHA training, CPR and First aid certified, I keep up with 24 continuing education courses per year, have 8 years of hospice experience, expertise in all levels of care, Alzheimer's / dementia, Parkinson's, stroke, diabetic, wound care experience, ostomy and colostomy, respiratory , nebulizers, COPD patients, knowledgeable in all geriatric equipment, excellent nutrition & cooking skills, cheerful,compassionate, quality care is my goal!

I became a caregiver when my aunt needed care, and we had trouble finding a suitable caregiver for her needs, after she passed, I kept taking on other clients, and eventually started working for an in home caregiver company. I enjoy being a caregiver, because I get to help bring back a sense of stability to someone that has lost independence. I like to feel like I can make a difference in someone's life, and help them enjoy the small things in life that we take for granted, until we can not do them anymore. I currently work for an in home care company. The laws will change as of January 2015. I will not be able to work the hours I am use to, so I will need to find a second client outside my agency. I would like to be able to work with both clients.

I am a cheerful, caring and compassionate person that is loyal and dependable. I am a strong advocate for my clients. I enjoy encouraging and assisting people of age to remain as self sufficient as they are capable. I empathize with those losing their independence; it is not easy for anyone to navigate personally and it is just as difficult for those watching it happen to a loved one.

I have 2 kids and I like to read, hike, and love nature. I like to be outside, I exercise 3x's a week. I like to be around kids and be a companion to those who need someone to talk to.

I have a love of people, I'm awesome at what I do and I have a true desire to make a difference in each life I touch. However brief that time may be. I think the elderly is one of our most overlooked commodities, they have so much to contribute, so much to learn from them. I want to feel I have made a difference however small it may be in someone's life at a time when it may be needed the most. Losing a significant amount of weight, leading to total management of diabetes. I love to cook, which has come in handy working with different individuals with different and diverse tastes and cultures. I am an avid reader, I can't get enough of learning. In my spare time I assemble and sell gift baskets, which I find very therapeutic for me. I also in the pass have volunteered at a board and care facility. As I said prior, I'm good at what I do, I take my job personal and approach each client as though they were family. I'm honest, punctual, strive for a high level of integrity and I'm respectful of each clients circumstance.

I choose to be a caregiver because I like to help people. I enjoy working with the elderly, it makes me feel good knowing I am making a positive difference in someones life. I am proud that to say I have LPN license. I Have extensive experience when, it comes to working with seniors.

Ive been a CNA for 13 years. I have worked in hospitals: PCU, ER, Med Surg, telemetry -post patron, Er ect. I have experience in Hospice as well as Homecare. Hospise Nursing homes ect I took a child care course in my 20yrs of age and worked with abused children in my earlier career. I can provide Companion Care, Personal Care, Comprehensive Personal Care and Child Care to my clients. .

I am a very compassionate, caring, reliable person. I love the fact that I can change someone's life with my love and support. My grandmother made me realize caregiving is what I was born to do. Caring for her, seeing how happy she was everyday was AMAZING. The most I enjoy of being a caregiver is building a bond with my client, the smile on their face when I enter the room is what motivates me

I'm a people person, I'm caring and loving. I think we should all be treated like we are special , because we are!!Kindness and love are always easy to give!!! I have done this type of work all my life, ever since I was 16 yrs old, In the state of Oregon I'm a CNA and hold a license there and I'm currently going to school to become a LVN.

I have a passion for my elders and I want to make a difference in someone 's life everyday that God allow us. I lost my mother in 1992 and I know what it's like to have someone to give you love and care and have patients with someone in their time of needs . I know giving love and time would make great deal in someone life to care and have the right training to help with personal care assistance grooming, dressing, feeding and monitoring at all times, I really enjoy seeing that I could put a smile on their face and making sure their safe,...I'm proud for successful completion Families in Touch..Human Service Coalition Program with a certificate graduation and awards also I have completed Children and Families at Miami Dade Community College -Kendall Campus HRS Child Care Training. also I have volunteer at United Cerebral Palsy Association Of Miami and have personal character letters..I am a passionate responsible caregiver that's dependable and conscientious in helping others, I treat them with respect at all times, I'm a hard worker loving and caring person and very loyal, I do believe in a safe and clean environment .

I started out working as an EMT working on an ambulance and then became a CNA and then I started working in home care as a live-in caregiver for over 10 years. I enjoy working with the elderly.

I became a caregiver because at a young age I had to care for my disabled mother and I feel that is my gift. I love being a caregiver to bond with people that are physically and sometimes mentally unable to properly care for themselves.
