I became a care giver because I had an early experience when my mothers cancer returned from being in remission from 7 years I was only 17 years old. She needed help with her daily ADL'S when she was home I enjoyed doing it for her. I still have my mother to enjoy life with. She is now healthy and strong.I enjoy the opportunity to impact clients' lives and make a difference to them. I appreciate the chance to get to know the patients and their families and become and integral part of their lives. Seeing a smile of appreciation over just a small deed that I do. I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. if I can add a smile or a laugh to a client's day, that means a lot to me. it is important to laugh.
