I like helping people and working with people who can't fend for their self. I've been a caregiver since I was a little girl taking care of orphaned baby animals. I am now a certified CNA. I have worked with elderly, disabled, along with mentally challenge people. I have worked in a med fragile home nursing homes and private home care. I have been certified in CPR, first aid and had a lot of training on working with elderly and disabled people. I've had 15 years of experience I've taken them shopping, doctor appointment, run errands, I give baths, help dress, cook, tubal feeding I've taken care of my dad ,he had alheizmer along with clients who had it. I've had a lot of experience working with all kinds of people. I am a CNA and have a license up to date.I can give references

I've been a caregiver for most of my life. I love helping others and want to see people stay as independent as possible. Hi! My name is Bertha and I'm 47yrs. old. I began working with Adults who are mentally & physically challenged when I was 20. I knew right away that it was the field I wanted to be in, because of the way I felt at the end of each day. In a word, I felt fullfilled. Like what I was doing made a difference. I have experience as a certified DSP (Direct Service Provider) in a Workshop setting and also as a PSW (Personal Service Worker) in home settings. I assist Clients with personal needs, help them with everyday life skills, Transport Clients including those in wheelchairs and have been told that I'm great company and funny.... I have 5years experience working with the elderly. Am very reliable person and trust wealthy and I love what I do as a caregiver. I became a caregiver after taking care of my grandmother for 2 years before she pass and feel this the best job will like to do for the rest of my life lastly I feel very happy and comfortable after assisting the elderly .
