I love the elderly. I have been in love with classic movies since I was a teen. Edward G Robinson, Joan Crawford, Barbara Stanwyck just to name a few are my favorite actors. These people lived in that era and they possess a wealth of wisdom. I love listening to them and worked as a certified nursing asst. in a day program for Alzheimer and dementia patients for 4 years.. I left being a care giver for quite some time and ran a successful daycare which was featured on a program called the visionaries on PBS and seen all over the world. I won the home based small business administration award and was asked to say a speech and introduce Hillary Clinton. I recently moved to North Carolina Fort Bragg area after briefly working at the Arturo Shromberg senior citizens center in the Bronx NY. I really made some wonderful connections with the people there. I truly believe that the love and kindness I feel toward the elderly is a direct extension of the love I had for my own mom whom I lost a short while ago and that someday I will reap that kindness when I myself reach my golden years. I want to leave some good memories in the hearts of those I care for! I am thankful for those years I had helping to train the next generation and have just completed my training for my hha certificate to prepare me once again to work with the elderly. I am just a few credits from completing my associates degree in accounting and then I hope to go on for my bachelor's degree.

As a certified Home Health Aide with 3 years of experience, I believe that I am well suited for this position. In the course of caring for the elderly and infirm, I have become adept at working in a home setting I am passionate about caring for individuals with disabilities and the elderly. My previous experiences position me well to perform HHA duties efficiently. I am extremely proficient in administering personal care to clients including dressing, oral hygiene, bathing, skin care, and feeding. I am also a nutrition expert, can take accurate vital signs, and assist clients in daily living activities using different methods. My outstanding communication skills and ability to work independently will allow me to be a considerable asset to your organization.

I care about my patient and I learn new stuff from them. My mother was sick and I used to take care of her. By taking care of them. Or go out with them sometimes. I'm proud the fact that when they give me a new case the other one don't me to leave because on how I treat them
