I'm a very caring and a people person. What attracted me was being interactive with others and helping them, with more than 13 years experience I enjoy bringing comfort and a smile to clients by the end of the day. I've accomplished my CNA certification and high school have my High School diploma. I look so very forward to meeting with you.

I want to be a caregiver for your loved one because I love serving, caring, encouraging and bringing joy and a sense of hope into everyone's day. I have had many years of experience serving in these capacities. I have served as a minister and counselor for more than 35 years I also served as my mother's care giver for the last 11 years of her life. She just passed February of this year. If you want your loved one cared for with hands and heart that say "you're important" then I would be happy to talk with you!

As a very young person, I realized the need and honor of being a caregiver. I suppose that is why I chose to peruse a practical nursing career. Although, after I received my licence, I did not practice professionally; my education did come handy as my husband and I raised and cared for our two daughters and later when I helped care for my paraplegic uncle (a WWII veteran), my father (also a veteran) and most recently (for the last 6 years) my mother, until her passing in 2014. I suppose my greatest accomplishments are surrounded in the caregiving of others. With my expieriance and skills I feel that I can provide exceptional care for a family in need.

I became involved in the caring for the elderly and individuals with developmental disabilities, initially from the growing needs of my elderly mother and special needs adult son. My primary focus was to provide care and later oversee the overall care and well being provided by the caregivers, provide administrative functions, social activities as well as promote health and wellness activities for my loved ones. As a result, I became completely aware of the growing and critical need for a caring overseer with special skills. My personal and professional experience has developed into a passion to serve the senior as well as the special needs communities. Today, I seek a unique opportunity to provide this much needed combination of services in caring services for private individuals.

I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing.

I primarily became a caregiver for my mother which was for almost 8 years. I love taking care of people and making sure they are safe, well taken care of, and supported. I am proud of my bachelor degree which I will have by Spring of 2016! My studies are in Gerontology and I want to be an advocate for the elderly. They need and deserve a strong voice. So many things I see that are incorrect with our present health system. I am so blessed having taken care of my elderlly mother. I know I can't change everythng, but I can make a little bit of difference in senior's lives.

I am a very professional and caring caretaker person. I love others and helping them with their needs but also believe in professionalism. I don't take things for granted and have a compassionate side to me that helps in this area of work.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I genuinely and sincerely care about others. I became a caregiver because I knew for a fact that I could make someone's life so much better with love. I like being able to see others happy because of something I said or did. I am proud that I am able to change another's life just helping them!

I was honored to care for family members who were dealing with severe ageing issues and expressed their desire to be cared for at home. With my spouse's support, I was able to care for both ladies simultaneously implementing comprehensive care plans I developed to meet their individual needs as well as to attain optimal health and wellness. My priority was to provide them with a loving, compassionate and dignified environment to attain the best quality of life they could enjoy while relieving them of the anxieties associated with the activities of daily living, nutritional requirements, managing a household, money management, scheduling and accompanying them as a strong advocate to physician and other health care providers visits, medication management and when and if necessary, hospitalizations. This was managed in concert with both ladies as I believe full respect should be accorded at all times to our elders who have given a lifetime of care to their loved ones. Incorporated at all times were the opportunities to enjoy the love of life with outings, pursuit of hobbies, family visits, conversations on a broad range of subjects, enjoyable meals, etc. and, most importantly, laughter and always, love. Both ladies returned to me their priceless gifts of love and trust in allowing me a deep sense of fulfillment and igniting a passion to share that care with other elders in need, all of whom are so deserving. I am a family man. Raised 6 beautiful children and would do it all over again. I always loved taking care of them as infants. I realized I was a caregiver when at the age of 10, took care of my 1 yr old brother on our 12 day move across the country. I also have cared for my mother until i was unable to. I am proud I am a counselor at a Hospice Day Camp.

Last year my mom had a stroke and after moving to her home to assist her with ADL's I realized how important is to have someone to who you trust to be taking care of your loved one. I like helping others to make them feel better. One of my personal achievements is to have being able to complete my CNA program and be Certified to be able to help people in a more professional way. My goal is to serve the senior population with compassion, respect and patience.

What makes me a great caregiver is the passion i have for helping others, especially elderly or anybody who has a hard time taking care of themselves due to illness or whatever the case may be. I decided I loved doing this when my grandmother was fighting for her life, I wanted her to be as comfortable as possible. I also enjoy conversating with those who have nobody else to help them and feel lonely. My biggest accomplishment was helping a younger girl gain confidence when she was sick and losing her hair, and people would make fun of her. Now she lives life to the fullest and fights everyday. I love helping people and making them comfortable and to not think they're just wasting their lives away. Especially to those who have do not have family or have family members that are too busy or don't have the paitence anymore to deal, as we all know life does get in the way of a lot of things.

Hello, My mother passed on june4,2015. I was her care giver, companion, gardener, chef,laundress, house keeper,personal shopper&comic relief! I have a strong need to care for others. Have previous on the job training at an extended care facility. The san juan living center.which provided award winning care to it's residents. It held extreamly high standard of care .I myself still hold that as a standard in my own caring. I consider it a privilege to care for others, and consider that caring itself as a personal and, spiritual achievement. I became a caregiver as a natural outlet for my nature. I love to help people, and, animals. It was an honor to be with my mother for 15years, firstly as a companoin, then as the years and prognosis changed, as her caregiver. I'm a loving , caring, loyal,friendly, hard working,honest person. Who is starting life over after losing her best friend. I am single,with a grown son. I would like to be a caregiver because I love to help people in any way I can, I believe that everyone deserves to live as normal life as possible and if I can help do that for someone that is great.
