I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I have a passion for caring for others. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way because if I could still help my grandparents now with the experience I have now I would feel much better.

Personality traits that I have just going to choose a few, I'm very loving and cheerful, I love helping others and putting everyone before me to make sure thier well taking care of. I enjoy making conversation to make my patients laugh and feel welcomed, also just being someone they can look up to just in case they didn't or don't have that. A personal achievement that I am proud of is getting through school so that I can be able to treat people how I never was and give my unconditional love to them like I knew them my whole life.

Being a caregiver is something that comes natural to me. As a young girl I watched my mom care for our elderly relatives and neighbors. I was always happy to assist her with helping others who couldn't help themselves. I enjoy showing great companionship to my patients. I love listening to their life stories, it helps me with getting to know and understand them. I treat patients how I would want someone to treat me or my loved ones if we were in the condition. The best reward I get from being a caregiver is knowing that I was able to help give someone a better quality of life because they're no longer able to do it on their own. What I believe makes me a great caregiver is because what I lack in years of experience I make up in hard work, dedication and compassion. What made me decide to become a caregiver was a desire to help people, and also the idea that I could actually make a difference in people lives; whether it being as small as remembering that they prefer their coffee black or as significant as assisting them in their daily therapies so they can recover the best they can. I am great at communicating with a resident with a tone that they are able to understand. I have patience and do not move at a fast pace that can throw the person off. What attracted me the most to caregiving is being able to help someone in need who can not have that care on a daily bases at home alone. Some patient don't even have family that want even go check on them. It makes my day when I can bless someone by perparing a meal are giving a warm bath.
