Hi! I have worked in a nursing home for about 4 years now as a CNA. I absolutely love caring for others. If I can put a smile on someone's face when they aren't necessarily feeling their best or make them feel like they have someone they can talk to and trust I know I've made a difference. It is truly one of the most rewarding parts of my job. I have always been extremely patient. I am compassionate, caring, reliable and very responsible. I can assure you your loved ones will be well taken care of! .. Pay is definitely negotiable.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy working with people. I get a good feeling from helping people in need. My favorite thing about being a caregiver is knowing your making an impact on someone's life. I am proud of getting into nursing school for my BSN and I will soon graduate. I am currently in nursing school and gaining hospital experience.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy taking care of those who can no longer do for themselves. I also became a caregiver because I thought that it would be the perfect stepping stone for nursing. I love being a caregiver because I enjoy taking care of people and helping others. I also enjoy how personal the work is, one can really get to know the patient and family. I am proud of everything I have accomplished in my profession however the one thing that means the most is not even 6 months into my career I was given the position of team leader, this means all new teams members were orientated by me and my professional opinion was valued during evaluations. Personally I am a very outgoing person who loves to be involved. I am a very hard working and reliable person and love working on my own, which is why I believe home health would be the perfect position for me. I understand that regardless of age and needs the transition of having a caregiver is difficult for family members, therefore my job is not only for the patient but for family members as well. 1. As I was raised by my grandmother when I was younger, naturally, I get along amiably with older adults in my present profession. In serving them, I know that my grandmother would be proud of me. Most of all, I enjoy the friendship of each resident, as well as they enjoy mine. It has always been a fulfilling experience to work as a caregiver. 2. My favorite part is building trusting relationships among residents, co-workers, supervisors, visitors, etc. 3. No matter what the challenge or experience, I have my passion for health-care to offer knowing that I'm helping to empower a community. 4. I have had four years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant. I work exceptionally well in the area of geriatrics, having cared for residents in independent living, assisted living, and hospice. To further expand my experience in healthcare, I am beginning my enrollment at St. Catherine University this fall 2014 pursuing the Dual Degree Nursing Program.

I enjoy taking care of elder family members because I am patient and get along well with them in one-on-one interaction. I have empathy and compassion for older people and I always show them how much I care and understand what they are going through. I treat them like my family with love and respect. I was born in Poland where I was raised to always respect elders and take care of them when they get old. I raised 3 beautiful daughters here in America who no longer live with me therefore I miss the feeling of taking care of somebody. Helping others gives me joy and seeing them smile makes my heart so full!

I became a caregiver because I have always liked to help others.I like caregiving because everyone some day will need some type of help i fell like if i did my deed of helping other that one day when i need help that i would be blessed to have a caring patient person to assist me like i have to others. My achievements are putting smiles back on people face that have giving up and giving them courage again when they have been up in bad situations in there past. I am a 35 with 3 kids i have 1 girl and 2 boys i love to read and go on outing with friends. i am from wisconsin been in illinois for 5 years came to better my life for my kids and myself.

I am a very loving and compassionate CNA that loves all kinds of people. The feeling that i get for caring for people that need caring for gives me happiness and joy. I have been doing this for 5 years now and I am so blessed to be a CNA. I am proud to say that even at 12, I was ble to take on some of the responsibilty of taking care of my grandfather back in 2002 to 2004 up until he died. I also took care of my dying uncle for as long as he lived. I know how it feels to have a loved one need caring for and that is why I love doing this. I treat my patients the way i would want my family to be treated.
