I am a caregiver because I love the satisfaction of making a difference in the life of someone by providing them with the care they need. Being a caregiver I am able to be empathic and always provide clients with the care I would want for myself or my family members. I am a great caregiver because I go above and beyond to fulfill my clients needs as well as wants since I was a young girl I've always had the heart to help the developmentally disabled children as well as adult and elderly I specialize in autism and have had 3 years experience with individuals with seizure disorders I've obtained my fingerprint clearance card, article 9 certificate as well as prevention and support i also have my DCW and CPR/first aid as well i also specialize In medication administration also I love being a caregiver it gives me such a great feeling in my heart to be able to help these individuals live their best lives I love what I do and most importantly I'm GOOD at it!

I became a care giver to help those who cannot help themselves. I also have a younger brother that I had to take care of because he was in cognate, I actually grew to like taking care of people. I love to see the smile or someones face when your able to change their life by showing them the love they deserve. I would say a personal achievement for me is the ability to connect with others. I grew up in foster care from 2 years old until 16 years old.

I am a 54 year old African American woman. I have just lost both my parents recently and this type of work fills the void I have. I enjoy helping those less fortunate. I have a lot of patience.
