Honestly me becoming a caregiver just happened, but it came so natural to me. I remember as a child my mother would say treat people how u want to be treated and I really take that everywhere with me. I love to interact with people especially the elderly, I feel like history is sitting before me and if i just listen I can learn a whole lot like they say if u do not learn from history it will repeat itself. I proud of my self for being able to accept any challenge that comes my way and win lose or draw I'm goin to push forward. You know, I'm thankful for so much and I try not to take life for granted because we just don't know we may need someones love and care one day.

what makes me a great caregiver is my personality my compassion and my ability to not judge but to always try to understand and accept everyone for who they are. Also my empathy I have for elders that are now unable to care for themselves. My willingness to serve, an absence of “attitude,” and the patience to weather a patient’s bad days. I became a caregiver because the joy I felt from being able to assist my elders and show them that through their struggles they can rely on me to help them along the way. My most proud moment was when I cared for my aunt who had a stroke and became bed ridden and wasn't able to walk. I stayed by her side the entire time I helped with her physical therapy and she shortly began to be able to walk again i was proud because i could tell tat a certain point she wanted to give up, but he remained strong and she told me it was because i'd show up everyday pushing her to want to get back walking.

I became a caregiver, because I realized its more then just a job. They are like family too. Being a Caregiver is great because you get to hear of all the great stories and lives these people lived. I'm very proud with helping the elderly with anything they need. It really puts a smile on their faces as well as mine. I enjoy care giving like they are family.

TO KNOW ME IS TO LOVE ME IM SELF MOTIVATED I WORK GOOD WITH OTHERS I LIKE HELPING PEOPLE IT MAKE ME HAPPY IM OUT GOING LIKE TRYING NEW THINGS A VERY GOOD LISTNER AND A TEAM LEADER FOLLOW DIRECTIONS WELL
