CareLinx and UnitedHealthcare (UHC) are partnering to provide thousands of UHC members with in-home care benefits and are looking for a caregiver near Southbury, CT. Care is needed tbd upon hire and caregiver should be able to start on mid-August. This job is approximately 8 hrs total with 4 visits at 2 hours each. You will play a pivotal role in relaying information back to UHC through the use of digital care plans. The primary duties of this caregiver will include: bathing (sponge bath), grooming ( getting dressed), transportation (medical appts about 20 minutes, run errands, grocery shopping), toileting ( just help get up), mobility ( assist with getting up walk alongside for support h/ 4'11" w/137lbs), meal prep (simple meals), light housekeeping ( change bed linens, laundry, sweep/mop, clean bathroom), medication reminder, companionship ( visit with member on occassion).
