We are looking for a reliable, strong and LICENSED caregiver to assist our 91-year-old father at his home near Clearwater Beach. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys meaningful one-on-one care and is passionate about making a difference in someone’s daily life. SCHEDULE & START DATE: Daily care needed: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (could be flexible) Approximately 84 hours per week Looking for someone who can start soon WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Kind, patient, and physically capable caregiver Comfortable assisting with transfers (bed to wheelchair to toilet) A great cook or someone who loves cooking—a big plus! Must love cats—our father misses his furry companions Experience with elder care, mobility support, and hygiene care preferred DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Morning (AM): >Check vitals, administer morning meds and insulin >Perform wound care (feet/skin) >Assist with transfer to chair and dressing >Morning hygiene: brushing teeth, shaving, wash-up >Seated showers once a week (requires physical lifting) >Prepare and serve breakfast Midday/Afternoon (PM): >Lead 15-minute physical therapy exercises >Check blood sugar/administer insulin (as needed) >Prepare and serve lunch >Laundry: clothes, bedding (at least twice a week or as needed) >Tidy up room and living space >Accompany to doctor appointments (as needed) Evening (PM): >Prepare and serve dinner >Evening vitals, meds, and insulin >Nighttime hygiene/toileting support (includes lifting to and from toilet) >Help change into pajamas and transition into bed Why This is a Great Opportunity: You’ll be working with a sweet man who deeply appreciates consistency.
