Looking for a enthusiastic and dedicated companion near Tampa, FL to provide company and companionship to my Mother. I am in need of support Monday -Friday (3 -4 days_. I would like the to begin February 03, 2025 and estimate 3-5 hours per week. The activities of daily living performed by the caregiver will include companionship, activities, games and transportation. Being a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNAs) is a definite plus. Mom has early stages of dementia, she needs companionship and company a few days a week while my husband and I work from home full-time. We are looking for someone who can commit to 1-3 hours a day 2-3 hours a week to take her on walks (she's in very good shape she can almost out walk me!) take her to do activities, shopping and keep her company. She needs gentle reminders to eat meals/snacks, she is mobile and can carry on conversations. She can walk, use the toilet, and dress independently. Mainly we work full time and need someone to help engage her and take her to the occasional appointment, or on shopping trips. She has expressed she wants to do some other activities besides watching TV and she is very capable although we do not have the time during the week to support her activities. Must have a driver's license and we will provide funds for gas and time and any other incidentals. (we are flexible on days/times but prefer late morning and afternoon. Evenings are a bit more challenging for her)
