I am seeking a punctual caregiver located near Tampa, FL to help care for my Dad. He has a progressive motorneuron disease (an atypical ALS variety). He has not use of his arms or legs or body as far as strength. Can not do anything on his own. he is a solid 230 lbs still though and 6'1" so we need someone strong who can roll him and help position him without my mother having to assist. We need assistance every day in the morning and evenings. Some during the day. Possibly occasional overnight would be nice so my mom could sleep. He is on oxygen. Caregiver should be able to start November 27, 2024. Caregiver's duties will include bathing, grooming, toileting, stretching, light massage, and transferring & mobility. He has a power chair so someone that knows how to help train him on that would be a bonus as he is just learning it. Only serious applicants will be considered. A great opportunity to work privately in a loving home, while earning more!
