We are looking for a respite caregiver to check on our dad during those times when we are out of town or otherwise unavailable. He is 85, had a stroke and uses an electric wheelchair. He has mild dementia/memory loss. He needs his meals and meds prepped, supervision for showering and light assistance for dressing, but doesn't usually need help for toileting. Light housekeeping like doing dishes, emptying his urinal, wiping up spills etc. We have been checking on him 2x/day, about an hour in the AM 8:30ish nd an hour in the PM 6ish, but flexible and he can be home alone in between. Really w just need someone who can do that when none of us are available, 1-2x a month or so, but all negotiable. Rural area. He is sweet and likes company.
