CareLinx and Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) are partnering to provide thousands of members with in-home care benefits and are looking for a caregiver near Belhaven, NC. Care is needed and to be determined upon hire with caregiver and caregiver should be able to start on ASAP. This job is approximately 8 hours per week. You will play a pivotal role in relaying information back to Blue Cross NC through the use of digital care plans. The primary duties of this caregiver will include: companionship (visit with him/sit with him) bathing assistance (h/5'10" w/140lbs sponge bath on occasion, assistance getting in out of shower and assistance with showering) grooming (assistance with getting dressed), toileting (assistance getting to the bathroom), transferring/mobility (assistance getting up, transferring from wheelchair to chair), occasional light housekeeping (dust, clean sinks in bathroom, change bed linens, sweep/mop).
