CareLinx and Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) are partnering to provide thousands of members with in-home care benefits and are looking for a caregiver near Newport, NC. Care is needed 60 hrs: days and times to be determined upon hire and will be determined with caregiver one day will be MWF once a month mid morning and caregiver should be able to start on ASAP. This job is approximately 2 hours per week. You will play a pivotal role in relaying information back to Blue Cross NC through the use of digital care plans. The primary duties of this caregiver will include: bathing assistance ( assist with getting into/out of the shower using transfer board), occasional grooming (assist with getting dressed), occasional transportation ( run errands, possibly ride with member on transport services to go to the store), meal prep (simple meals), light housekeeping ( sweep/mop, change bed linens, clean bathroom/kitchen, dust, laundry), medication reminders (assist with setting up pillboxes), companionship (visit with member assist with technology), occasional toileting ( on occassion assist with changing depends).
