CareLinx and Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) are partnering to provide thousands of members with in-home care benefits and are looking for a caregiver near Engelhard, NC. Care is needed on Wednesdays or Thursdays preferably mornings and caregiver should be able to start on ASAP. This job is approximately 2 hours per week. You will play a pivotal role in relaying information back to Blue Cross NC through the use of digital care plans. The primary duties of this caregiver will include: bathing assistance h/5'5" w/142lbs ( assist with getting in and washing body, has shower bench and grab bars), grooming ( assist with getting dressed), toileting (assist getting to the bathroom), occasional transferring/mobility (assist with getting up and walking for support), meal prep ( simple meals/ limited on salt), light housekeeping ( change bed linens, dusting, sweep floor, empty trash, clean kitche/wash dishes), occasional medication reminders, companionship ( visit with her, play games if possible).
