Looking for a caregiver to help my Grandpa with bathing and possible light house cleaning, roughly 2-4 hours a week. My Grandpa is a grumpy old turd with a heart of gold. Can be hard to get along with at times but has been improving to be a better and kinder husband to his wife, my Grandma, who has widening dementia and is very emotionally sensitive. She is on hospice but I have made the decision as his POA to keep him in home health until I feel as though he is ready for that next step. His hospice was recently revoked after an extended hospital stay to recover from sepsis. While he will be on home health, we need to hire a private caregiver to help him with his weekly bath that was previously provided on hospice. If affordable, would be open to paying for more hours to help with light house cleaning.
