Hi! We're looking for a caregiver for my mom to work 7am-7pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, for the next 5 weekends. We're in Red Bank My Mom is 80, very sweet, and is recovering from hip pain. She has had scans and lots of doctor appointments but so far they've haven't been able to nail down a specific injury or problem. She also has rheumatoid arthritis. She has limited mobility at the moment but she doesn't need a lot of assistance - she toilets by herself but may need help with showers. She'll need someone to bring her meals (she is a light eater) and also handle dispensing her medicine. Her meds are already organized in a sorter so you would just need to get it to her at the right time. She walks using a walker and can get in and out of bed unassisted and walks around on her own. My Mom isn't a big talker and prefers that her caregivers just pop in and out to check on her and be available if she needs anything. She just really loves knowing that someone else is in the house with her and close by. My father passed away last May and they were married for 52 years so she's had to make big emotional adjustments. It would be just you and my mom at the house unless I, or one of my siblings, stop by to visit We've had 2 full-time caregivers for the past 2 weeks and they'd be happy to speak with you privately and vouch for us or to explain anything. We pay in cash and can do so daily or on Sunday, totally up to you! On Sundays would be easiest for us but it's your decision! Feel free to call or text me if you have any questions or want to chat!
