CareLinx and UnitedHealthcare (UHC) are partnering to provide thousands of UHC members with in-home care benefits and are looking for a caregiver near Kempner, TX. Care is needed flexible with days and times to be determined upon hire for the first 3 weeks it will be 3 times a week for 2 hrs each visit and then going to twice a week for 2 hours per week and caregiver should be able to start on ASAP. This job is approximately 4 hours per week. You will play a pivotal role in relaying information back to UHC through the use of digital care plans. The primary duties of this caregiver will include: bathing assistance ( handicap accessible), grooming ( assist with getting dressed), toileting ( assist with getting to bathroom/clean up) moblity ( assist with getting up walk alongside for support h/4'10" w/ 151 lbs), transportation ( medical appts, run errands, grocery shopping all local), meal prep (simple meals), light housekeeping ( sweep/mopping, changing bed linens, wipe down kitchen, clean bathroom), medication reminders and assist with setting up weekly pill box, companionship ( visit with member, put puzzles together play board games).
