I decided at a young age that I wanted to be a caregiver. My mom used to take me to her job sometimes as a child, and I would always tell her that I wanted to help elderly people. I would try to do different things, but she would not let me. I would say, " I can't wait until I can do this!" As I grew older that's all I could ever think about doing, I puzzled my brain over and over again about what I wanted to do, but always came back to CNA. What I like most about being a caregiver is being able to help those, who have more than likely did their share of helping and caring, but need that for themselves now. A personal achievement that I am proud of, is when I received Alzhemiers and Demetia Training, got my certificate and became LEAD CNA on the Alzhemiers Unit!
