As a little girl I helped my grandmother take care of my grandfather, I tried a lot of different jobs but none of them gave me the type of satisfaction as when I'm caring for someone. I love people and my mother always taught me to treat people the way I want to be treated, also if I ever were sick to the point of needing to be cared for I would want someone that is caring and gentle. The most important thing I like about being a caregiver is seeing the smile on the clients faces everyday that I show up, seeing the joy that I bring to someone when I show up for work, they are like my very own family. Getting my GED and going to college has been one of my greatest achievements, the same joy I get from caring for people is the same joy that I get when I'm in school learning it's an awesome feeling being 40 years old in college making better grades than when I was in high school my first year of college I was on the deans list with an 3.0 Gpa. I'm a 40 year old mother of 3 adult children a 3 year old granddaughter, and my second granddaughter is due to be born on April 28 of this current year. I'm a college student seeking a degree/diploma in dental assisting, I am a licensed certified nursing assistant of 13 years, I'm a Christian I love God, I'm an evangelist at my church, I also serve as assistant secretary at my church.
