Since I was a teenager, I've loved helping other people. I enjoy working with people of all ages and circumstances. What excites me most about this position is the opportunity to help those with disabilities live happier, healthier lives. I volunteered at my hometown assisted living center at 15 years old 3 days a week after school. I looked forward to seeing the smiles on their faces and knowing that someone cares. I think helping other people affects the local community positively, so I'd feel honored to accept such a vital role. I'm interested in being a caregiver because I'd like to increase the amount of care the elderly population receives. As I learned through my previous health care experience, this population often benefits from caregivers who provide companionship and who pay attention to detail. This can help improve the daily lives of this population. I'd love to be a part of that effort through this position and help improve the kind of care this group receives. I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where I have one-on-one interaction with others. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I get along with older adults and feel I can get along well with a variety of elders. I enjoy making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better. I take pride in your attention to detail. I feel that when I am older, I would want someone like myself there to help me if I need help. I would say some of my personal achievements throughout my careers in life have been re- organized something to make it work better. Identified a problem and solved it. Come up with a new idea that improved things. Developed or implemented new procedures or systems. Worked on special projects. Received awards. Been complimented by my supervisor or co-workers
