What makes me a great caregiver is empathy & compassion, because byy showing both empathy and compassion it will let the person im caring for know that I care about them and want to do what i can to help them. What made me want to be a caregiver is my niece who recently passed away with cancer by being in the hospital 24/7 with her seeing not just kids but elderly patients as well made me want to make a difference and be there to help them in any way I possibly can rather it was recoverinh from cancer or just needing help period. What I I enjoy most about being a caregiver is looking at the progress of the person progressing each and every day and just knowing that I was able to be apart of that. A personal achievement in proud of would have to be getting back into school and just going toward my goal with being a social worker and being able to help children as well as still being able to help the elderly.
