I am a divorced 55 yr old I hav always loved the elderly starting when I was in hoghscool living with my grandparents we visited my uncle every weekend I was always curious so I jus acquainted myself with the residents there just enjoying them and their stories or just listening to what they had to say I've always thought the elderly people were so special to me they each have their own story and I think they have have a lot to say or sometimes not they just want someone to be there , I try to treat people like I would want them to treat my mom. I could never seem to get interested in anything else so for the last 25 yrs being a caregiver is all I've wanted to do. I believe that it is about that quality of care but I also strongly believe it is also the quality of life, wat we do as caregivers to make them feel as safe and comfortable at all times
