What makes me a great caregiver is I have a heart of gold which makes it easy for me to care. I also have a good rapport with people. I live my life by the Golden Rule and it makes feel good to help those in need. I never had being a caregiver in mind but there came a time that I was in need of employment and caregiving became a joy to me. I then had to be a caregiver to my parents both suffered strokes. My dad had Alzheimer's disease and my mom had heart disease and diabetes. During this time my husband had a stroke then cancer. I enjoy being a caregiver because it gives me joy to see how happy my clients become when you are there for them.
