I first found a passion for caregiving in 2020, when I began working privately for a family and taking care of an elderly diabetic man. Connecting with someone one-on-one is really important to me, as I recognize the need for patience and kindness tied in with professionalism in this field. I was with him for about a year, doing almost everything with/for him. I can keep track of medication well, prepare healthy meals, transport, keep up with the house/hygiene, and build a personal connection with people.
