Administered medications via the following routes: oral, topical, eye, ear and nose, rectal, transdermal, sublingual and buccal, assisted nurses with wound care for pressure ulcers, bed sores, and surgical site wounds, detected respond to specified types of medication and prepared reports, maintained absolute confidentiality of all information pertaining to patients, families, and staff and adhered to all HIPAA rules, monitored vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration, notified designed personnel of unexpected reactions to medications, assist patients with bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, feeding, elimination, and other personal care and daily functions as needed, plan, purchase, prepare or serve meals to patients according to prescribed diet, changing linens, washing and ironing laundry, and light house cleaning, turn or reposition bedridden patients, assist nurses with wound care for pressure ulcers, bed sores, and surgical site wounds, answer patient call signals or intercom systems to determine patient’s needs, helped patients reach goals and increase their independence.
