I spent years as a Caregiver /Companion to friends, family and friends of family. Your home is your personal space. It's a place where you are most comfortable and secure. When I come in, I offer both Caregiving skills and Companionship. I respect your homes comfort zone and you. I listen and ask questions as I learn my Clients habits and needs. I have a happy heart, I am kind, friendly, patient and professional. I may offer better ways of getting care needs met but always at your approval. I am not bossy and I do not take over your home. I am also careful to put things back in their place when done with it, unless the Client states otherwise. I can assist with medications, personal hygiene care, light housework, grocery shopping, transportation, and more. Sometimes I just come in to assist family members needing a little break from their Caregiving for their family member so they can revive themselves too. I've worked in pallative care with some clients also and interacted with family members needing emotional support with their loved one adjusting to end of life issues and worked with Hospice teams like Casa de La Luz and Corondelet who are my favorites in Compassionate Hospice Care. I enjoy nature, photography and music. I am a person of Faith and I live out of my heart for others. I learn all I can regarding each individuals needs and enjoy seeing my Clients laugh and smile. A happy heart is very important! Most of all I Care! I was in a commercial for Visiting Angels 11/2015 and also did a multimedia interview (nationwide) with Channel 13 News regarding not forgetting our elderly during the Holidays and creating a Holiday box of new memories.

I became a caregiver becauseI love providing caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people ,so I know I am doing the right thing. What i like about being a caregiver,I enjoy the opportunity to impact clients' lives and make a difference to them. I appreciate the chance to get to know clients and their families and become an integral part of their lives.A personal achievement i'm proud of was being able to take care of my grandmother in her time of need and having the right skills to do so well.About me,I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses.I pride myself on providing excellent care.My top 5 qualities i bring to the table would be Empathy,Dependability,Patience,Strength, and love . I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client's day, that means a lot to me.
