I want to pursue a career in the health field. Some day I want to be able to call myself, "Dr. Esqueda!" When that day comes, I want to be able to say i have been there and I have done it. I believe in doing so, it will make me a more compassionate and understanding doctor. Most of all, I enjoy the satisfaction of helping others. Recently I did enroll into Pre-med. My placement test scores were high enough for me to receive the Presidential Scholarship (Honor's Scholarship) at Mesa Community College; however, because I did not graduate in a high school within Maricopa county, I could not receive the scholarship. Still, I was very proud of myself and will enroll into honor classes, with or without the requirement, primarily because I love a challenge and believe one should always set their standards high. If your dream does not intimidate you then, it is not a dream.
