Hello. My name is Patty. I have been a caregiver for over 10 yrs . I started when my best friend was diagnosed with ALS. After she passed away, I went back to school to become a CNA and Hhc so I could specialize in caring for patients with ALS and the elderly patients. Since then, I have cared for 4 additional people who have all been diagnosed with ALS. Between in home care, doctors visits and hospital stays I have been with these amazing people every step of the way through this debilitating disease. I am a caring and loving person. I work hard and always go out of my way to take care of my patients. I have experience in tracheotomy breathing treatment's, G-TUBE care feeding, wound care, medications and other infections. I deal with Medicare and insurance companies. I am willing to drive and I enjoy being with my patients. There health and well being always come first..
