I spent years as a Caregiver /Companion to friends, family and friends of family. Your home is your personal space. It's a place where you are most comfortable and secure. When I come in, I offer both Caregiving skills and Companionship. I respect your homes comfort zone and you. I listen and ask questions as I learn my Clients habits and needs. I have a happy heart, I am kind, friendly, patient and professional. I may offer better ways of getting care needs met but always at your approval. I am not bossy and I do not take over your home. I am also careful to put things back in their place when done with it, unless the Client states otherwise. I can assist with medications, personal hygiene care, light housework, grocery shopping, transportation, and more. Sometimes I just come in to assist family members needing a little break from their Caregiving for their family member so they can revive themselves too. I've worked in pallative care with some clients also and interacted with family members needing emotional support with their loved one adjusting to end of life issues and worked with Hospice teams like Casa de La Luz and Corondelet who are my favorites in Compassionate Hospice Care. I enjoy nature, photography and music. I am a person of Faith and I live out of my heart for others. I learn all I can regarding each individuals needs and enjoy seeing my Clients laugh and smile. A happy heart is very important! Most of all I Care! I was in a commercial for Visiting Angels 11/2015 and also did a multimedia interview (nationwide) with Channel 13 News regarding not forgetting our elderly during the Holidays and creating a Holiday box of new memories.

I am a great caregiver because I treat my clients as if they were family. I became a caregiver because I find myself taking care of people all the time. I love being able to help people feel great about themselves in any situation. I like being able to comfort, calm, and bring a smile to people as they go through the stages of their lives. Sometimes it just takes conversation, a touch, or just cheering them on. I have been a medical assistant in the past and it makes it much easier to understand the correct ways to assist people. I have been a caregiver through a company here in Tucson since 2014 and have experience providing those who need companionship, light housekeeping, medication management, care for pets, and much more. I am quite good at getting along with people and making new friends (I consider my clients friends). My clients tend to grow to like and trust me very quickly. I like being around them because they teach me new things.
