I have been a CNA since 1995 and worked in nursing homes for 6 years. I worked for Banner Hospital for 13 years in the med-surg /oncology unit. I have been working for kindly care for 2 years and previously worked for synergy for 1 year. I enjoy working one on one with clients in their home. I would like to keep working as Caregiver because I genuinely enjoy caring for people. I can help others to recover and stay in their homes as long as possible.

I became a caregiver because I took care of my old mother that needed help and couldn't care for herself people came in my house and did not give my mother the cares that she needed and I felt so sorry for her so I had to leave one of my job to help her. 2. Being a caregiver I like helping older people meet their needs helping them reach their goals and seeing smiles on their faces.My personal achievement that I am proud of when I go to work and I make my resident smile and they know that they have someone every day to look up to that make them to feel they are love and care for. I am a very patient person a people person,friendly sociable and fun to be with love helping others in need mainly senior citizens very capable hardworking and love to listen consider every resident like my family enjoy being able to put a smile on a resident face I currently have clients that appreciate my ethic and style. Giving a loving gentle approach I have over 20 yrs caring , most recently for clients with needs from stroke/heart & broken bones. A lot of my experience comes from dementia pts. And as I have prior Physical Therphy experience, stroke clients, amputees, Cancer Patients as well as End Of Life. My references are outstanding and available upon request. I also have lots of experience working with elderly that dont have dementia or any other memory impairments.
