My name is Christina Lopez. I have been a caregiver for 10 plus years. I am very compassionate and love to help the elderly continue to be independent as much as they can in their own home. I have always loved helping others and enjoy spending my time with elderly. They always have such great stories from their life experiences. I was with my last patients for 7 years. In that time I grew to love them very much as if they were my own grandparents.

Since I was a child, I've loved helping other people. I enjoy working with people of all ages and circumstances. What excites me most about this position is the opportunity to help those with disabilities live happier, healthier lives. I think helping other people affects the local community positively, so I'd feel honored to accept such a vital role. I'm interested in being a caregiver because I'd like to increase the amount of care the elderly population receives. As I learned through my previous health care experience, this population often benefits from caregivers who provide companionship and who pay attention to detail. This can help improve the daily lives of this population. I'd love to be a part of that effort through this position and help improve the kind of care this group receives

The thing I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the look on my clients face of the satisfaction that I can provide for them.

I have been a certified Medical Assistant for over eight years. Therefor my scope is wider then a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). I have many years of work experience working with Geriatric population. My certification and BLS CPR are current. I am available for evening care and weekends.

That alone made me happy to go to work every day. I have been in the care giving business for over ten years. I am very dependable, a team player, self-motivated, loyal, a quick learner, honest, organized and I am very dedicated to what my patient and family needs and wants. I don't look at this as a job I take caring for my patients as a passion. I enjoy what I do and I am thankful every day for the opportunity to provide this kind of care to someone's loved one who struggles to care for them self. I earned my BA from Spring Arbor University major Family Life Education. I am passionate about advocating for individuals in need and providing good patient care. I have worked in hospitals, assisted living, and privet duty home care for over 20 years. I am a caring and compassionate person and will alway work hard for each family.

I am a great companion, and can keep a patient entertained and keep patients motivated and happy. I love to help people and just being there for somebody.
