I grew up helping seniors I knew and have always loved doing so. I love being needed and feeling like I am making their life better, happier, healthier. I am an empathic soul and have compassion for people hurting or needing help. As I know, illness and aging is apart of life, if I can help to bring a caring, and comforting helping hand, I feel I'm doing something that is meaningfull.That brings me joy. I know GOD is using me in a beautiful way. I do my best to follow instructions given and make sure my clients needs are met. I stay focused on the job I'm doing. I'm adaptable . I watched Francesca from a new born till 3 in a half...She had lots of surgeries shunt put in and replaced ...she had to use a cathiter couldn't really walk did lots of physical therapy with her...I loved taking care of her ..I follow her on Facebook still..she is 35 now...Then I took care of my mother , brothers and little sister my mom has had lots of medical problems..I use to take care of a little girl name Mary and her sister but Mary had Ceribal Palsy she required alot of care watch her 40 hours aweek well her mom was in nursing school...Then I took care of a man in his 70s who was legally blind...I cooked and cleaned for him took him shopping read his mail for him ..I raised 4 children 3 boys and my beautiful daughter I adopted from Russia...I took care of my grandma who lived with me for 8 years...She had a stroke and dragged her foot alittle she passed away 5 years ago...I started working at All for u home care because I love and need to take care of people.. Performing a variety of nursing care duties concerned with personal care and following established procedures with treatment in an inpatient and outpatient clinic settings. Assists in patient orientation into their designated unit. Recognizes and reports patient problems or changes in patient's condition to team leader. Documents simple subjective and objective information. Take accurate vital signs, blood sugar tests, EKG, blood pressure, bladder scans, and other required measurement per protocol in compliance with patient complaint. Transporting patient to different areas in the hospital, feeding, bathing, and dressing. Provide high quality patient care as an in demand per-diem within surgical, acute care, rehabilitation, home healthcare and nursing home settings. Preserve patient dignity and minimize discomfort while carrying out duties such as feeding, grooming, bedpan changes, diapering, emptying drainage bags, glucose monitoring, bathing. Commended for chart accuracy, effective team collaboration, patient relations and consistent delivery of empathetic care.
