I've been a caregiver for almost two years now and I'm enjoying my times as a CNA, I like having a positive attitude because the patients feed off that energy. I have patience and experience with dementia patients. I always wanted to be in the medical field and I thought being a CNA would help my career in the long run and help me achieve being a good nurse. I enjoy helping the patients with whatever they need, to communicate with them, and it's rewarding knowing you're helping someone out. Person achievement I'm proud of is when a patient tells me thank you when I help them with something; could be feeding them, after the shower or when I shave a patient.
