I have been a caregiver since 2009. I have a great passion for taking care of others and have spent most of my working career doing so. I have extensive experience in almost every area providing care for this population. I have worked with a variety of Alzheimer's and dementia clients as well as Parkinson's, MS, Diabetes, severe respiratory issues, Huntington's disease , cancer and those on hospice all which include many different special needs. I have a degree in Psychology from CSUS that I earned in 1983. If there's something new I'm not familiar with, I'm more than willing to learn. I love to cook and most likely can make almost anything up on request. I'm always willing to do house cleaning and laundry. I take pride in my work and always go above and beyond what is expected of me. I enjoy conversing with those I provide care for, they always have such interesting memories and history. My mission is to always treat my clients with the compassion, respect and dignity they deserve. I also work at the San Juan Unified School District with Autistic preschool children which requires much energy, patience and understanding. I am also fully vaccinated. I grew up helping seniors I knew and have always loved doing so. I love being needed and feeling like I am making their life better, happier, healthier. I am an empathic soul and have compassion for people hurting or needing help. As I know, illness and aging is apart of life, if I can help to bring a caring, and comforting helping hand, I feel I'm doing something that is meaningfull.That brings me joy. I know GOD is using me in a beautiful way. I do my best to follow instructions given and make sure my clients needs are met. I stay focused on the job I'm doing. I'm adaptable . I am respectful and have taken classes that make me a better caregiver on how to manage people with dementia. I am a certified/licensed caregiver with the State of California and have had a background check which is required for your protection by the State. I have taken continuing education classes. 5 This year that were CNA related training and passed them.

I have been in the field. For more than 25 years, I have been very successful in providing care for individuals according to each clients needs. I pride myself on the fact that I got one particular client who wasn't willing to participate in any exercise and was wheelchair bound to not only participate, but eventually began walking. I am extremely proud to say I absolutely adore working with seniors, I've been doing it for a long time. I love being in the company of them. I absolutely admire the stories and the way they did things.

i feel like a a great care taker because i love helping people i love to make people smile i know am a people person. Am a Mother of 4 and 2 of my kids are adults now so i only have to younger boys . I have been a caregiver for over 40 years .... I have experience with wound care and sterile procedures. I understand Supra pubic catheters ,changing them etc . I spent 12 years taking care of a woman who had M.S... my recent job i helped a family care for their mother until she passed away i was with them for over a year. throughout my career I have done jobs which require light housekeeping, taking care of animals, shopping and companionship. I can offer overnight shifts also. I have fantastic references and looking for a great job with a great employer..... whether it is full time or part time. I can also do live in if needed..i love all animals too. Owning my car i have dependable transportation and i'm very reliable which previous employers would tell you. I have been living in Sacramento for over 20 years....... Reference letters given at interviews.

Hello My name is Martha i live in Sacramento CA for about 36years moved to Davis CA to attend a better school.In my senior year i volunteered to work at this facilty working with the elderly AND I TRULY ENJOYED IT from that day in 95' i knew what i wanted to do.I started medical school in 97' but...found out i was pregnant i had put to put my dreams on hold.In 99' i started working at State Franchise Tax Board for 3yrs then my day my Co-worker asked'hey do you really enjoy working here i stated NO but i need to provide for my family from that day on i told myself 'do something you like to do! I can say i separted myself and found a job working with the elderly in 04' from then just worked as a caregiver for YEARS my daughter a teenager now so i decided to go back school and get my RN license and here i am! Thank God!

Very Compassionate. Give 110%. Go above and beyond. Want to help the needed and seeing that I can make a difference is a great reward. Enjoy being able to be one on one and seeing the client smile and enjoy the little things makes a big difference. I proud that I never had a client that didn't like me. And I never got fired from any jobs.
