My expertise lies in assisting geriatric clients with activities to enrich your daily life. What attracted me to become a caregiver is that I would like to make a difference in people's lives. The thing I enjoy most about being a caregiver is providing companionship and assisting people with shopping and light housekeeping. I am personable and enjoy being a home care provider. I became a caregiver because I wanted to help others by assisting them with their activities of daily living. I enjoyed caring for many seniors over the years and learned quite a lot from them. I believe I'm a great caregiver because I have had extensive training in a skilled nursing facility as well as in many private homes. I also enjoy seeing the difference that I often make in people's lives. I became a nursing assistant back in 1982 and acquired my Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license at the convalescent hospital where I worked. I then went on to work for several home care agencies and acquired my Certified Home HeaIth Aide (CHHA) license. I have worked as an independent contractor caregiver for years. I am willing to commute for full-time employment. I have great references and will be happy to submit them upon request.

I am easy going and very patient. I'm also very flexible with my schedule. I became a caregiver after helping my parents as they aged until they passed. I loved helping them and other people which is why I became a caregiver. I love meeting and working with different people it keeps my job exciting . Hello! My name is Elaine and I'm a great caregiver because, after looking after my father who had Alzheimer's for four years, I have the kind of experience and genuine compassion for seniors that I would want if I were looking for a caregiver. I have completed my CNA training, and am CPR certified. I've also completed several certificate courses in Safety, Memory Care, etc.. Safety is my number one priority. I'm all about fall prevention and have developed techniques to keep my clients as mobile and self-sufficient as possible while keeping them safe at the same time. For me, looking after elders is a privilege. I think that in this sometimes youth-obsessed culture, we can forget how much we all owe to the Greatest Generation. I love to talk to my clients about their experiences, their children, the music they loved, and anything else that brings a smile to their faces! From my father I learned about the music and culture of the 30's, 40's and 50's, and I love it when my clients sing their favorite songs or talk about what movies they liked from those days. I like to cook, so if your loved one has any favorite dishes I'm happy to make them. I can prepare fresh, healthy foods as well as fun desserts. I hope you will consider me for your Caregiver.

I have been a caregiver for ten years. I love pampering my clients with facials, manicures, pedicures, foot massages, exercises and artwork projects. We moved up here from Southern California because my dad had cancer and asked us to move closer. We, my husband and I, saw him through his end of life process, then we were here for my mom. I am a licensed esthetician in the state of California. Having been a Certified Nursing assistant for 2 years I have acquired a passion for health/healing. My goal now is to be able to further my career with said licenses among the Holistic Healing Community.
