I understand that besides the care needs they need to be provided with company someone they can trust, be heard, love and understood. I worked for a Volunteer Center for about 5 years, i worked with agencies as Alliance on Aging, I encourage recognition to elder people and program activities that can entertain and make them feel appreciated and that they have still a lot to live for. People and family needs to be aware that elders are not just to have them at home like an old furniture that they have yet much to offer, but more than anything that we have to appreciate their lives and legacy. they need love company, attention and care.
