I am compassionate and empathetic. I genuinely care for my fellow man. I am a good listener who pays attention to detail and I'm self-sufficient. I've completed training in the following courses through The Public Authority of Santa Clara County, Last phase of life, mental health, nutrition, personal care, pre-paramedical, Alzheimer's & Dementia Basics, first aid, diabetes, and CPR, to name a few. Being the oldest, and only girl of 4, I Inherited the role of caregiver at a very young age. I started as a babysitter and later in life gravitated towards adult care. I have remained a caregiver because I enjoy meeting people from different parts of the world and hearing their lives experiences, their knowledge, and the wisdom they often share. For me, there's no greater satisfaction than going home at the end of my workday knowing that my presence made a difference in someone else's day and that I am appreciated.

I am a fun, loving and easy to get along person with empathy towards my caregiving careers. I love to talk with new people and try to build up positive relationships as possible. I am willing with confident to provide support and safe for any gender on any care they need as possible. I always respect, provide independent and dignity for my client as possible. I always like to be a good listener to client not only to express themselves but I learnt different good deed from them the old fashioned way, and I take it. Most of the client i provide care for them will always consider as one of family member, for theirs to mine as well as mine for theirs. That is the achievement I always accomplished and proud of ,which I always left each family with good references.

I am in my late fifties and am an Army Veteran . It makes me reliable. I enjoy the the flexibility in scheduling as a Professional Caregiver. I am also the Dad of a teenage daughter, I am quite proud of that. I have experience caring for a close family member with Alzheimer's and Dementia. My skills set include changing incontinence undergarments, assisting the Care Recipient with getting dressed, grooming and body cleaning. Lifting the Care Recipient out of bed without a Hoyer Lift and placing into a wheelchair. Feeding the Care Recipient, assisting the Care Recipient with walking with the aid of a walker and safety belt. Playing assorted games with Care Recipient to keep them engaged. I am also an experienced Cook and Housekeeper. At this time I am only taking on new Care Recipients from the East Bay.

I'm very alert when providing care and needs to my client.Patience,Compassion,Attentiveness,Trustworthiness is the key to be a good Caregiver.I am proud to say that every client i have had a great care because i am giving them something to look for like having a good life and how to enjoy living in a daily basis.

About me, I always wanted to be a registered nurse since I was a little girl. I didn't get that far the goal was to take care of people. I love what I do. It's not about the money it's about caring and taking care of people and giving them the attention and love they need. Integrity, hard-working, on time, pay attention to all details, and give my clients the compassion and love they deserve! That's me!

As a caregiver, provider , and advocate of the disable community for the last 12 years my role is very fulfilling , I'm a very outgoing ,passionate , reliable worker who keeps a positive motivating attitude . I've spent the last 15 + years caring for my teenagers, their friends and their schools. if there was a place to help out I was usually there, and often stayed for years. my work experience is mostly in office administration, but this is not what I want to return to. I studied to be a drug and alcohol counselor, but would like to be able to help others as well, so I am looking into caregiver work. I would like to do something meaningful, and that I enjoy. I am a quick learner, and always up for a challenge. I have a ton of patience that I have developed over the years. I love learning new things, and I love helping people. I'm a very passionate, caring and loving person. I've been taking care of elderly people for over fifteen years. I took care of someone with spinal injuries, cancer, alzeimer/dementia and hospice patients and I know the daily challenges and changes they have to go through. Care giving is something i choose to do out of passion, and dream I love helping older people, just like i love taking care of children too. because I always pray to live longer and old ,so I started by trying to help volunteering weekly because am in to filmmaking,singing and dancing which Is also one of my passion ,but The job comes once a while before i decided to make it a full time job due to my experience with older people, and people with special needs .So what made me a better caregiver is because I care for my clients like they are my own parents and family in a special way.My believe as a caregiver is you need first to love people as you love yourself,then put yourself in their shoes and feel their pains then you will know how it feels that they need more time and care ..
