I have been in the medical field for about 28 years. Started doing caregiving 10 years ago. I started with helping family members and eventually worked for companies, such as Comfort Keepers, Visiting Angels and 24 Hour Home Care. In doing this line of work, you learn a lot about the person you are caring for, tho you can have experience, you are constantly learning, no two people are the same. I love helping others, I'm caring and compassionate, and show them love and dignity, treating them as if they were my family, that is important. I have trained other caregivers, in the companies I worked for, and always told them, you have to have heart. If you don't, you are in the wrong field. You must show care as if they are your grandparents or parents. There is no better life than helping another in need. I look forward to every chance I have to do so. I'm quiet and clean, but will also joke and make them laugh, once we get to know each other. It is just my personality. I will respect your home, and your things, and take care of them as well as provide light house chores to help you out around the home. In the end, we are here to help one another, and if I can have the opportunity to do this forever, I will.
