Through the Alliance on Aging Strengthening Wellness Program - It is a goal to provide four educational group sessions to underserved Latino elderly seniors throughout Monterey County. Strengthening Wellness Program provides services as far south as King City, Salinas, and in the Peninsula areas. These four educational groups discuss topics on 1. Nutrition and Diabetes, 2. Health and Exercise, 3. Anxiety and Depression, and 4. Medication Management and Community Resources. This program helps to promote engaging activities, conversations that address overall health and wellness, and combat isolation, loneliness, and life challenges. As a Program Manager, I conduct and deliver these educational group sessions both in English and Spanish at times requiring to translating between both to engage all attendees, provide hand-on learning on each topic by making the groups engaging and interactive, provide direct participant care by answering all questions and concerns, and aid in connecting individuals with local resources. Use Microsoft Office, Microsoft Suite for programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher to create flyers, data report tracking, and documentation of completed tasks.

As a Child Care Worker, I am responsible for the continuous supervision of children and youth's safety, and overall wellbeing during visitations with parents and relatives. Completion of daily documentation, reporting of any incidents that may occur to ER/CPS, and notification to assigned Social Worker on the case. Visitations are monitored both in English and Spanish, and rules and policies are discussed and reviewed with all adults prior to the first visitation with the children. Provide a safe and welcoming environment for both children and parents. Provide direct communication by de-escalating or using motivational interviewing to redirect difficult situations. Utilize Microsoft Suite programs.
