Hello my name is Carmen! I have over 30+ years experience working in patient care, I have chosen to become a caregiver as I have seen so many patients and families struggling for in-home support care. I'm a witness, and have experienced on how difficult it is to have someone that you can trust when your love ones are ill. A glimpse into my background. My mother had kidney failure, and was a dialysis patient for many years. She went from hemodialysis three times a week to peritoneal dialysis which is 5 times a day. My sisters and I had to have a crash course training just to keep my mother comfortable. My father suffered from lung cancer and his care was very challenging as well. My oldest sister was diagnosed with breast cancer and seeing her go through chemotherapy was very difficult. Because I have had these personal experiences is why I have chosen to become a caregiver and help individuals with special needs. I have a positive personality, compassionate and a great listener. I enjoy helping people, self motivated and professional. I look forward in working with you and your love ones.
