Empathy and sympathy is what makes me great caregiver. We've all been through tough times that have shaped the people we are today. Everyone has been through their own journeys to become that person and my purpose is to remember that and treat everyone with the respect they deserve. I love helping people and seeing the relief on their faces when they realize someone actually cares about them, who wants to help them so that they do not feel alone. What also makes me feel like this is the perfect career choice for me is when residents ask for me by name to be their CNA and that I'm their favorite caregiver because they know they can depend on me and trust me. Its a great feeling.
