I began working as a private caregiver a few years ago. At first I was intimidated but soon realized caregiving came fairly naturally for me. My homemaking skills such as cooking, cleaning and organizing as well as my general love and respect for seniors have been great benefits in this field. I'm 26 years old and in good physical shape so that has helped me as well because a lot of my caregiving positions have required quite a bit of heavy lifting.
