I love helping people. Last year I retired from a 17 year career working with learning disabled childern. I took a month off and started working for a caregiving agency. In that position I went into elderly people's homes and cared for them. Duties included, taking them to Dr. appointments, grocery shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, preparing meals and medicine management. In August 2018 I started caring for a 103 yr old women. These duties were a little different she is bedridden and on hospice. These duties include, feeding, changing, bathing and companionship. I have experience with dementia and alzheimer care. I enjoy being a caregiver because it gives me joy and a purpose. The personal achievement I am most proud of is my family. My husband of 30 years, my son and daughter.
