What makes me a great caregiver is my genuinely love to help and be there. I don't work this field for a paycheck. I love working this field because its who I am. What attracted me to this position as a caregiver was my grandmother. I have always taken care of her and it always made her happy. I never treated her or any of my patients as work. I genuinely loved them all and cared and treated them and looked at them as my extended family. My personality traits are huge personality, very silly when around loved ones or anytime someone is down. I can always make someone who's down smile. I have a very huge heart. I enjoy everything about being a caregiver. Each day of just knowing I've helped someone with each day in there life to make it easier any way that I can is the best feeling. Knowing that I made someone smile and i can help someone in the way is needed without feeling like they cant do it is the best feeling.

My job description here and responsibilities were to help the living experience of my residents easier and more comfortable. My job task were to admit medication every night before bed as well as morning meds. I worked both night and day shift. I prepped my residents meals for them and also gave my residents their morning baths. I gave great companionship to my residents. I kept records of their daily records which included any decline or increase in their health or any new changes to their daily activities. I also made sure all their linen was clean as well as the house. I had a house of six residents that I cared for. I made sure my residents were well cared for and watched over all through the night and day. I made sure they had clean briefs everyday as well. I bathed my residents men and women. I got them dressed for each day and I also got them ready for bed overnight.
