I became a caregiver because I know how important it is to anybody (especially seniors) to get help with love, compassion and trust included. Anyone who I'm taking care of isn't "just a client". I look at my job as an opportunity to show my clients that they are loved, very important, even precious because they really are. I provide non-medical services as companionship, caregiving ( personal hygiene, assistance with bathing), cooking, light housekeeping, running errands (grocery shopping, appointments). And I feel it's worthy to make life of someone who would think sometime "nobody needs me anymore just because I'm old" happy life, full of joy and if they want: fun too! Started working with private client in 2008, worked with many home care agencies in 2014-present. I've graduated from college ( CNA program) in 2014 and became licensed CNA. Was working in Saratoga Retirement community as CNA (2016-2017), SunnyView Retirement Community( Assisted Living and Memory Care unit as well),and looking to get some more hours to work with private client. I've got a great experience helping clients with Dementia and Alzheimer, it's very rewarding to see a positive influence at someone's life . To care wholeheartedly is my priority. Ever-since being introduced to this career, I have acquired the passion and enthusiasm into taking care of, not only seniors, but people of all age groups who desperately require care and assistance and having to make them feel secure and happy in their own environment, homes and communities and making an impact in their lives so that they may get through each day with comfort and peace. I am very passionate with the work I do. I have taken care of several patients in the past from which I have had many different experiences with, which involved bathing, laundry, toilet assistance, hoyer lift, meal preparation, feeding, using feeding machine, medication, doctor/nurse visits, dental appointments and moreso with hospice cases.
