Hello My name is Tanika Birdsong i am a single mother of 3. I am an experience caregiver i have been for about 8 to 9 yrs. I first started with my sick grandmother who had an stroke and she also was an diabetic ..I helped with cleaning,bathing,grooming,meals prep also errands when needed and appointments and helping with her Meds. .She basically couldn't do anything for her self it made me have a feel and i developed a passion for caring for my Elders i treat each person with the up most respect..I love caring and helping out as much as i can..i love growing a comfortable relationship with my clients so that they want feel like im just anybody..My passion is My clients 💖

I am a Dementia and Alzheimer's specialist. I am experienced in Memory Care. Memory Care clients are my favorite people in all of healthcare! Though my first pick is with the Dementia and Alzheimer's clients, I have had other clients with other conditions, such as, stroke, diabetes and congested heart failure etc.. In 2011 when my ex mother in law became sick I became one of her caregivers. It was then that I realized how much I enjoyed caring for her. I do believe this is my calling. I was once offered a position as manager of a home health company. I did not think I could do that job. I was right because I need to be the caregiver not the office person. I love my job. I like everything about caregiving. I love my seniors. I love their stories and their laughter. I'm happy when they are happy. I look forward everyday to seeing my seniors. I love cooking, cleaning and fussing over my seniors, so I'm a natural at caregiving. Remember if you love what you do it's never a job. My fee starts at $25 an hour. My fee increases if the shift is split. Also would like employer to pay a share of taxes. I am currently working for $24 an hour but I am not so sure that after 36.5 months it's working. So money is not the deciding factor for me. If you are looking for an experienced Alzheimer and or Dementia CNA , I could be the one!
